We spoke to Diana Smith, who is currently freelancing in Dubai.

Freelancing in the UAE has been on trend for years and continues to grow. This lifestyle choice offers many benefits, such as focusing solely on your well-being without having any additional pressure from work or family life balancing acts all at once.

The Dubai resident of 10 years can maintain a balance between work hours and family time due to their excellent management skills, along with a lack of pressure about fixed timings in which she must complete her work.

Diana says that she can approach his work without feeling the stress of having a 9-5 job. She also enjoys getting more time off during weekends and holidays, even if it means occasionally staying up late on occasion.


"I love working as a freelancer because you can set your schedule," said Diana.


Diana said that working from home and looking after her children while still supporting them financially has been a blessing. She noted how freelancing gives parents the time they need for family life and ensures financial stability if anything goes wrong with either parent's health or employment status (which is common).


Freelancing has given her more control over when to take breaks and how much time she spends working on each project. "Living life the way I believe it should be lived," Diana said about being a freelance graphic designer in Dubai.
