As a yoga instructor in the UAE, I have had the unique opportunity to share the practice of yoga with people from all walks of life. From busy professionals looking for a way to de-stress to stay-at-home mothers looking for a way to stay active, I have had the privilege of teaching a diverse group of individuals. However, my journey to becoming a freelance yoga instructor in the UAE was not without its challenges.

Before deciding to become a freelance instructor, I taught at a yoga studio in Dubai. While I loved being able to share the practice with students on a daily basis, I found that I was limited in terms of the types of classes I could teach, and the scheduling could have been more flexible. I also found that I could not build a personal relationship with my students, as they would often come and go from the studio.

Then, I decided to take the leap and become a freelance yoga instructor. It was a scary decision, but I knew that it was the right one for me. I was able to create my own schedule, set my own rates, and teach a variety of classes that suited my personal style and the needs of my students.

One of the challenges that I faced when starting my freelance business was building a client base. I found that many people were hesitant to try a class with a new instructor, and I had to work hard to gain their trust. I did this by offering free classes and by reaching out to people in my community who were interested in yoga.

Another challenge that I faced was finding a suitable space to teach classes. As a freelancer, I did not have the luxury of dedicated studio space, and I had to be creative in finding locations that were suitable for teaching yoga. I would often teach classes in parks, community centres, or even in people's homes.

Despite these challenges, I have found that being a freelance yoga instructor in the UAE has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I have been able to build a community of students who I have come to know and care about, and I have been able to share the practice of yoga in a way that is authentic and meaningful to me.

In conclusion, becoming a freelance yoga instructor in the UAE has been a challenging but ultimately rewarding experience. It has allowed me the freedom to teach in a way that is true to my personal style and to build a community of students who have become like family to me. If you are considering becoming a freelance yoga instructor, I will encourage you to take the leap and see where it takes you.

Another important aspect of my journey as a freelance yoga instructor in the UAE was navigating the legal requirements for starting a freelance business. I found the process to be overwhelming and confusing, but thankfully I came across a service called Easy Freelance, which helped me to get all the necessary paperwork and residency in order to start freelancing legally in the UAE. With the help of Easy Freelance, I was able to register my business, obtain the required licenses, and set up my bank account with ease. I highly recommend their service to anyone who is considering freelancing in the UAE, as it takes away a lot of the stress and uncertainty that comes with starting your own business.
